The 7th edition of Prato Campus Week finishes up on Friday 12 April with the annual Run and activities organised in Piazza dell’Università and at the Serraglio Playground.
5pm – Sport and Games in Piazza dell’Univiersità.
From 5pm, Piazza dell’Università will come alive with many sporting activities and fun for all the family. All the activities are free and open to all!
Demonstration and Mini Lacrosse Tournament run by Greezlies Prato Lacrosse.
After a demonstration of this game, the tournament itself will start at 5.30pm. Each team will be made up of between three to five players of which groups can be unisex and of any age. To participate in the tournament no previous experience is required. All participants will be able to take part and have fun!
Workshops for Children run by CAI Prato
Staff from CAI Prato will also be with us all afternoon to ensure our youngest guests enjoy fun and creative activities organised by their experts.
Basketball on the Serraglio Playground, by Street Basket Prato
Basketball is back again for this year’s Prato Campus Week! The position of the Serraglio playground is ideal, and together with our own students, a local club will be joining us to play on the day.
7.30pm – Prato Campus Run – Mattatona, in collaboration with MARATONINA DI PRATO
We couldn’t possibly miss out Prato Campus Run from this year’s Prato Campus Week program! The Run is a non-competitive activity that takes us either running or walking through the historical centre of the city.
For this edition, in collaboration with Polisportiva Aurora, Uisp di Prato and Asd Prato, we are presenting the “mattatona”, a 4km crazy run around the historical centre of the city with the last 100m of retro running (running backwards!). Participation is free and you’ll be rewarded afterwards with a Pasta Party!
8.30pm – Pasta Party
Following the Run, come along to the Pasta Party and stock up on your energy after the afternoon’s activities. The Pasta Party will be held in the internal courtyard at PIN – Polo Universitario di Prato.
